GDIT has partnered with NASA to consolidate select Procurement, Finance, Human Resources and Information Technology activities from the ten NASA Centers into a single shared services center located at Stennis Space Center in southern Mississippi.  Our work depends on an Accounting Clerk II to support the NASA Purchase Card Program.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists in performing account set up, maintenance and account closure.
  • Validation of training requirements.
  • Providing reconciliation assistance and operational support to purchase cardholders.
  • Monitoring PCard transactional activity.
  • Updating information to NASA Webpage and system.
  • Fulfilling all reporting requirements.
  • Replying to all audit inquiries.
  • Responding to FOIA requests.
  • Subject Matter Expertise on all NASA policy and procedures for NASA Purchase Card.
  • Subject Mater Expertise on Regulations as they pertain to NASA Purchase Card.

Basic Requirements:

  • High school diploma and 4+ years of professional experience; Purchase Card Experience Required.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Experience with or knowledge of government acquisition/contracting practices, programs and regulations (FAR, etc.) is especially useful.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid communication, problem solving and research abilities are necessary.
  • Strong knowledge of office software skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and prior experience with SAP a plus.
