The Priority Telecommunications Services (PTS) team supports the DHS Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security’s Emergency Communications Division as it provides priority communications capabilities to national security and emergency preparedness personnel nationwide.  The document control administrator for the GDIT PTS team plays a critical role in preparing documents for final delivery, tracking documents, and assisting in other coordination activities for the team.  If you are well organized, detail oriented, enjoy juggling multiple tasks, can work both independently and collaboratively, and want to do your part to keep our nation safe, then this position is ideal for you. 

Some telecommuting is allowed but must be local to the office.

Seeking a Document Control Administrator to join our team.


  • Use computer-based tools, i.e., MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and Adobe Pro to create deliverables content that conforms to quality standards. 
  • Assist in document preparation, proofreading and review, including recommending revisions to meet quality standards.
  • Assist in coordination activities concerned with routine deliverable distribution to meet established program requirements.
  • Manage master document database and files.
  • Provide, as-required, general administrative and related support to other program personnel, as approved by manager.


  • Contract requires US Citizenship
  • AA/AS degree (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of experience 
  • Must be able to receive DHS Entry on Duty / Public Trust 
  • Expert with MS Word, proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, high degree of proficiency with Adobe Pro
