GDIT is seeking a PLC Programmer to help support our Submarine Sail Antenna program. 

As a PLC Programmer, for our Submarine Sail Antenna program in Philadelphia, PA you will be responsible to perform engineering work concerned with the design, evaluation, planning, testing and operation.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Performs engineering work concerned with the design, evaluation, planning, testing and operation.

  • Develop PLC ladder logic and HMI development using Rockwell Automation Studio 5000 for Control Logix PLCs.

  • Maintains and development of documentation required for software qualification, experience with DoD Systems Engineering Practices (SEP) requirements is desired.

  • Performs engineering work concerned with the design, evaluation, planning, testing and operation of mechanical equipment and systems for commercial, government, military and/or scientific uses.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of experience

  • Experience with PLC Ladder Logic and HMI development

  • Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance
