GDIT has an opportunity for a Field Service Technician supporting Sustainment Automation Support Management Office (SASMO) Family of Systems Field Service Technician at Ft. Eustis, VA. Must have a current and active Secret Clearance.
CASI/VSAT configuration, troubleshooting, and operation is needed for this position.
Provides field support for the Army Logistics Information Systems (LIS) at Unit or Installation level Support activities.
Provides over the shoulder technical assistance or training, troubleshooting, software installation, software updates, and software fixes.
Capable of performing software, hardware, and network troubleshooting and problem identification and resolution.
Assists Information Assurance staff with all documentation required for accreditation and any other associated directives and regulations.
Performing analyses of system operations.
Familiar with the following Systems: Global Combat Support Systems-Army (GCSS-A) Standard Procurement System (SPS), Army Contracting Business Intelligence System (ACBIS), Army Food Management Information System (AFMIS), Integrated Facilities System (IFS), , Standard Army Ammunition System (SAAS), the Combat Service Support Very Small Aperture Terminal (CSS VSAT), Combat Service Support Automated Information Systems Interface (CAISI), Medical Communications for Combat Casualty Care (MC4), Army Human Resources System (AHRS), Transportation Coordinator's Automated Information for Movement System II (TC- AIMS II) and Desktop Touch Support for Admin Computer Systems.
AA/AS, 3+ years experience (years of experience in lieu of degree).
Must have a current and active Secret clearance.
Must obtain Security + certification prior to start date.
Must have CASI/VSAT configuration, troubleshooting, and operation is needed for this position.
Must have Microsoft Windows/Linux/VMWare server and client software, patching, upgrading, and maintenance experience.
Has a basic understanding of networking principles and system network configuration.
A basic knowledge of client and server software interaction including web-based application design, support, and integration.
Military experience is desirable.
