Provides senior technical advisory support and senior technical software requirements gathering and development services to an array federal clients using SharePoint 2016 and operating in an Office 365 environment. This position will develop and fix SharePoint 2016 solutions for multiple senior and mid-level client teams. As a technically current, resourceful advisor, this position also helps the client with research, planning and execution of short and long-term technical projects.
Successful applicants must have:
Proficiency in SharePoint 2016 (recently migrated from SharePoint 2010)
5+ years of experience with developing SharePoint solutions in both on-premise and Office 365 (cloud-based) environments
5+ years of experience with SharePoint 2010/2016 customization, including custom branding and navigation, configuring and administering search, configuring site collections, content type development, and application design
5+ years of experience with creating or customizing SharePoint 2010/2016 site collections, sites, lists or libraries, workflows, and metadata
Experience with delivering systems in a federal agency environment
Ability to translate client requirements into application designs
Ability to assist with the collection and documentation of user's requirements, develop user stories, estimates and accessibility of production applications
Analyze business processes and requirements from technical/non-technical teams and convert them into system functionality within the Office 365/hybrid framework
STRONG ability to work well with users, clients and across team environments. Candidates will be expected, in time, to provide solid recommendations on solutions and/or best practices in the governance, design and architecture of a SharePoint infrastructure
Must serve as an active partner with the client and as a positive collaborator with integrated project/contractor teams.
Useful/desired qualifications can include:
Experience with HTML5, JQuery, and REST
Experience with CSS3 and master page configuration
Solid understanding of the Office 365 platform including Teams, Planner, PowerApps and Flow. Ability to leverage these applications and provide best practices around the Office 365 platform.
Knowledge of SharePoint Framework development, tooling and implementation
Experience with the Agile development methodology
Ability to develop and design prototypes and mockups based on client requirements
Ability to identify user functional requirements and develop and maintain client relationships
Possession of excellent team-oriented, team building, presentation, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills
Must have a minimum active Secret to start, and must be able to obtain DHS suitability processes.
