Audio/Visual VTC Technician - TOP SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED

As a Audio/Visual Technician you will be supporting the FBI STOR130A contract, you will be trusted to work on FBI VTC conference room systems and Operational Center upgrades. In this role, a typical day will include working with the GDIT team to prepare systems for upcoming deployments and collaborating with FBI end users to replace the obsolete systems with new and upgraded versions.

Primary responsibilities will be:

• Provide meticulous and professional service in fulfilling the Audio Visual needs required for high-profile FBI customers
• Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints
• Knowledge of complex wiring configurations and/or signal flow for audio, video, control, network
• Effectively communicate with employees, customers, and colleagues
• Take responsibility to accurately complete job documentation as needed
• projects
• Knowledge and use of specific test equipment for required applications
• Knowledge and application of industry installation safety codes and standards
• Perform preventative maintenance visits to help maintain a stable client-based system
• Provide necessary training and support for next level technicians
• Provide end-user client training as needed

Your success will be measured through successful completion and sign-off from the customer on each system installed

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Active Top Secret Security Clearance
  • Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel out of state
  • Ability to join onsite teams on medium to large complex installations
  • Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner
  • Ability to pull cable, perform terminations, mount large format displays to walls, mount equipment in racks, dress cables, install ceiling speakers
  • Must be able to climb a ladder and work from heights.
  • Ability to assist system programmers with troubleshooting and de-bugging
  • Ability to work and think independently ensuring the team meets deadlines
  • Ability to clean various AV equipment including but not limited to: camera lenses monitors and equipment fans
  • 3+ years of relevant experience working on technical electronic systems
