Job Description

And our work depends on a Senior Software Developer joining our team. This position will be responsible for researching, developing, and/or modifying mission-critical Supply Chain systems. Experienced, detailed oriented individual that will actively work with the GDIT business community to solve business problems with systematic and process solutions that fit within system architecture standards. Maintaining the upkeep, configurations, and reliable operations of multiple applications.

**This position can be 100% remote**

Responsibilities
  • Meets with stakeholders, documents requirements, user stories, and related artifacts to define technical specifications.
  • Understands supply chain and warehouse management business processes and applies expert functional knowledge to support and design solutions with available technology that complies with GDIT Enterprise IT standards.
  • Researches, develops implementation plans, installs, configures, and tests software installations and upgrades to complex software packages and modules (SaaS and COTS).
  • Supports system enhancements and complex integrations with other major systems, including mapping data elements, developing code, data transformations, and documenting entity relationship diagrams.
  • Understands multiple application platforms and works with database, infrastructure, networking, and cyber security teams to maintain operations and contribute to the design of new solutions.
  • Collects reporting requirements, documents technical specifications, and develops reports in multiple technologies.
  • Maintains complex role-based access controls, enforces segregation of duties rules, and supports IT SOX compliance requests and audits.
  • Develops and conducts quality reviews to ensure systems meet documented user and security requirements.
  • Provides troubleshooting support for issues that are highly difficult in scope.
  • Escalates issues to team lead and provides progress updates regularly. 
  • Updates technical documentation, product specifications, and technical training materials.
  • Provides input into technical roadmaps for future implementations.
  • Provides guidance and mentors less experienced team members.
  • Performs tools analysis and participates in special projects as required.
  • May serve as project/task leader.
  • Maintains a current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.

Required Education / Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience.
  • 10+ years of related information technology experience with application administration and development.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Supply Chain, Procurement, Product/Order Management or Enterprise Resource Planning applications.
  • Due to the nature of the work performed and the privileged user access for this position, US Citizenship is required.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications
  • Experience with Warehouse Management applications experience a plus.
  • Application development knowledge and experience in the following:
    • Oracle Cloud web services and Groovy Script
    • Oracle OTBI and BI Publisher
    • Oracle PL/SQL and SQL Server Stored Procedures
    • SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
    • XML, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript web development
    • C# .NET (MVC, Windows Forms, and Windows Services)
    • Adobe Cold Fusion
    • Power BI

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $97,893 - $146,839, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
