GDIT is seeking a Senior Program Manager (PM) to lead GDIT’s support the United States Air Forces in Europe-United States Air Forces Africa (USAFE-AFAFRICA) Air Base Air Defense (ABAD) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) service contract supporting operations, maintenance, and integration of USAFE-AFAFRICA ABAD initiatives. This contract provides the full spectrum of Air Base Air Defense capabilities for the USAFE-AFAFRICA area of responsibility (AOR). The PM will provide program management support and manage all GDIT personnel, administrative, logistical, financial, and managerial resources across the ABAD program. The PM will manage and oversee all activities performed by GDIT personnel and subcontractors, to satisfy all program requirements.
This IDIQ contract includes Procurement, Integration, Operations, & Maintenance (O&M), and systems engineering of ABAD equipment and infrastructure throughout the EUCOM and AFRICOM combatant commands. More specifically the ABAD IDIQ service contract is to provide persistent, cross-domain base defense capabilities that increase deterrence/engagement options, survivability, and increase base security/defense posture.
Must be a US Citizen with a valid US passport
Military experience in and/or working knowledge of supporting base defense operations
Experience managing a contract or program of similar size, scope, and complexity
A current Top Secret (TS) clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a Single Source Background Investigation (SSBI).
Current Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional, Program Management Professional (PMP), or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III Program Management certification.
Working knowledge of Status of Forces Agreements (SOFA) requirements, regulations, and processes
Demonstrated experience in planning, directing, and managing complex projects/operations to include manpower utilization, procurement, training, problem resolution, employee relations (including subcontractors), cost, budget, and managing to milestones.
Relocation costs covered to/from CONUS home of record
Support of exercises/deployments a possibility
