The SEC ISS program is a comprehensive IT program charged with operating, managing, and advancing the SEC’s IT infrastructure. Our dynamic program team of IT leaders and large and small business partners is seeking bright, energetic and talented individuals to join us as we bring our innovative IT Service Delivery solutions to SEC. Currently, we are seeking a Data Center Technician to support our client in Washington, DC. Candidates MUST be US Citizens and eligible to obtain an SEC Public Trust Clearance.
Core duties consist of new client environment implementation, size, space and capacity planning.
Support customers with design of environment layout and structured cabling.
Performs day-to-day activities required to support the data centers, primarily performing activities such as installations, configurations, logistics, coordination, and control and tracking. Installs and manages configurations for all test equipment.
Manages physical security, key access, organization, and software configurations for DCIM tools.
Must have a minimum of 5 years of related experience in Data Center support, administrating equipment installations and configurations.
Must possess a BICSI Certification or equivalent.
