Our work depends on a Senior Salesforce Developer joining our team to support Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) activities. At GDIT, we foster a people-centric environment. As a Sr. Salesforce Developer supporting HRSA, you will be trusted to work on Salesforce platform and provide IT development.

How a Systems Engineer Advisor will make an impact:

Collaborating with Solutions Architects, Project Managers, Development Team, Business Analysts, HRSA, and other Agile team members to solve complex policy and system integration involving activities across several Salesforce Orgs.
As an organized, analytical problem solver, you will contribute to the Agile team’s sprint work to design, develop, and maintain software and tools to support building, deploying, and monitoring applications.
Develop better and more efficient ways of delivering solutions that meet business objectives.
Create, update and maintain system documentation
Write process requirements and technical design documents
Responsible for continually advancing the technology in a collaborative and creative Agile environment using many of the latest technologies and industry best practices
Conduct investigations and analysis to provide recommendations regarding technology improvements, development best practices, standardization, and upgrades
Provide mentoring and development guidance to junior team members
Work collaboratively and effectively with all levels of management and staff within the organization

Required Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
8+ years’ experience with Salesforce Development including Lightning Components, Visualforce, APEX, SOQL, and SOSL
8+ years’ experience on the Salesforce Lightning Platform including Process Builder, Workflows, Lightning App Builder, etc.
Possess Valid Salesforce Platform Developer I
Hands-on experience developing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform
Hands-on experience designing, coding, and implementing Salesforce applications
Experience working on Salesforce communities and Sites
Experience implementing full life cycle project in Lightning and have expert level working knowledge on major Salesforce.com technologies including Lightning web components, Apex Web Services, Visualforce, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, etc
Experienced in web technologies such as HTML, XML, CSS and JavaScript, WSDL
Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications using SOAP, REST, BULK and Streaming APIs
Experience with SFDC specific IDE and version control configurations (Github, BitBucket) for Salesforce development (VS Code, IntelliJ, SFDX)
Working knowledge and experience with complex business systems integration as well as object-oriented design patterns and development
Provide technical assistance and end user troubleshooting for bug fixes, enhancements,
Candidate must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance and must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years

Desired Skills:

Possess Valid Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification
Healthcare Service Industry, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA)
US citizen or a Green Card holder
Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint
Experience with infrastructure in a cloud environment
Experience with MuleSoft
Experience with Agile methodologies and frameworks such as, but not limited to: SAFe, Scrum, Kanban
Certified SAFe Agilist, SAFe Practitioner or other Agile certification

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $116,000 - $174,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
