Serve as key Senior Technical Lead to DHS CSD SPR and provide strategic direction, business management and leadership support of the Strategy Planning and Homeland Security’s Cyber Security Division (CSD) and Strategy Planning and Resource (SPR) subdivision. The SPR has the lead role coordinating and managing the CSD’s strategic planning and initiatives, budget, governance, and integration and performance.

The individual hired for this position will:

  • Serve as a hub among the projects, conducting research across multiple information and data sources
  • Integrate disparate streams of information from across the enterprise to develop effective communication, relationships, and products
  • Draft highly-complex documents, as well as any other strategic, programmatic, or operational documents determined to be within the scope of the role
  • Contribute to the design and maintenance of tools, templates, and standards for documents
  • Develop original approaches and document content
  • Facilitate document reviews and adjudicate comments in a timely manner
  • Edit and format documents to ensure a consistent style of presentation
  • Effectively communicate progress and challenges to management regarding the status of documents and other project-related information
  • Leverage input from all critical functions in preparing detailed and clearly-written reports
  • Work well in an integrated contractor/federal team environment.
  • Function effectively with minimal oversight - each teammate reports directly to the client on a daily basis but collaborates with one another and supporting each as needed. 
  • Possess advanced skills in MS Word and SharePoint, as well as the ability to work in Adobe Reader/Writer and Visio.
  • Must have DoD secret clearance and ability to get DHS suitability.
  • DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: MS, 10+ years consulting experience
