GDIT is looking to hire all levels of Software Developers. In this role you will develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs in support of the USSOUTHCOM-SCITES program.
Analyze user needs and develop software solutions.
Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
May supervise computer programmers.
Operate with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.
Possess and apply expertise on multiple complex work assignments.
Plan and lead major technology assignments; assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience hands-on experience in modeling, developing, integrating, and/or deploying applications in accordance with the Software Engineering and Integration (SEI) Policy.
DoD 8570.01 IAT-II certification (e.g., Security + CE or equivalent), and Computing Environment Certification.
Clearance-Active Secret with availability to obtain TS/SCI.
Education: BA/BS with additional formal training and certifications in IT systems. Experience may be substituted for education on a case-by-case basis.
