    Supports customer logistics requirements through the analysis, organization, planning and administration of various phases of day-to-day customer ordering and demand planning.

    • Analyzes catalog part usage and demand data to forecast future usage
    • Establish stocking levels with known materials lead times and demand to meet contractual SLAs
    • Incorporates potential demand notifications into the forecast
    • Analyzes non-catalog part requests to help identify future candidates for catalog entry as well as forecast possible stocking levels of high demand NQ parts to reduce lead times to the customer
    • Tracks and calculates inventory turns data for management reporting
    • Generates quarterly analysis of slow moving inventories and identifies/seeks ways to reduce investment 
    • Works with vendors to executes RMAs to reduce GDIT inventory investment in slow moving inventory
    • Creates customer facing reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
    • Follows established policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control.
    • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
    • Participates in special projects as required.

    Required Skills:

    • Bachelor’s Degree required with a concentration in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Operations preferred.  Military experience will be considered. 
    • At least 2 years within inventory analysis and/or material forecasting.  College graduates will be considered with internships and other professional work experience in inventory management and forecasting. 
    • Understand the cost drivers to managing inventory stock
    • Understand the various methodologies of inventory management (FIFO, LIFO, Average)
    • Candidate must be detail-oriented, a self-starter, and someone who takes initiative with minimal supervision

    Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
