The Systems Administrator shall provide on-site support at the SCOs (Security Cooperation Office) and will act as Tier 1 Support in coordination with the Service Desk.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor appropriate systems for any degradation or outage and notify the appropriate ACOR at SC HQ, as well as, SC HQ Theater Network Coordination Center (TNCC). From a User perspective, services and systems include, all telephone/voice, video, collaboration systems, as well as, all key applications such as web portals, and web based or client-server based mission or administrative applications on SIPR and NIPR. From hardware/software perspectives, systems include application servers, network devices, and firewalls.
Service Catalog - Develop and maintain and IT Service Catalog outlining all services available to Users, as well as, services used to operate and protect the network. The Service catalog managed by the Systems Administrator shall contain all services available throughout the SOUTHCOM AOR to include those maintained by the Contractor, Hosted by the Contractor, Hotelled by the Contractor as well as DoD Enterprise Services such as Enterprise Email, Defense Enterprise Portal, Defense Collaborative Tools, and Messaging.
The Contractor shall add new Enterprise Services as they become available throughout the DoD. T
he Contractor shall create processes and procedures to provision all SOUTHCOM users with any Service in the Service Catalog. The Contractor shall route requests for Services that are outside of the control of the Contractor to appropriate Service owners.
The Contractor shall repair all IT systems components in accordance with the approved Operations and Maintenance Plan.
Requirements for all workstations or peripherals such as monitors or printers, to be repaired within 72 hours of report of outage.
Install temporary (floating) workstations and peripherals from the spares pool while workstations and peripherals are being repaired. The Contractor shall accomplish all workstation and peripheral repairs using Best Commercial Practice guidelines. Document repairs in a maintenance log and include the documentation in the monthly status report.
Verify and report all un-serviceable equipment beyond economically repairable to the appropriate ACOR for disposition.
BA/BS is required
Minimum of 5+ years relevant experience
Security+ and CE Certificationis required
