Provide logistics elements support with schedules and milestone, and delivery of modifications and aircraft. This will include, but not limited to acquisition, planning, supply support, support/test equipment, engineering. Supports customer requirements through the analysis, organization, planning and administration of various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, maintenance and/or repair activities, configuration management. Should have a strong organizational and multi-tasking ability to manage daily program demands. Provide forward thinking and proactive solutions.Contributes and provides guidance to the completion of advanced logistics projects.
Develop schedules in MS Excel and/or MS Project and monitor milestones for established and new logistical/engineering requirements and identify problem areas.
Must have NAVAIR experience and effective communication skills to liaison with logistic element manages and NAVAIR competencies.
Performs administrative and analytical tasks in support of a contract program.
Assists in developing plans, including budgets and schedules, and monitoring tasks, to meet contractual/project requirements for assigned program.
Provides guidance and applies advanced knowledge for supplier audits, assessments and evaluations to ensure conformance to clients quality, cost and delivery performance standards.
Performs advanced demand forecasting, distribution planning, supply chain modeling and design. Provides guidance to less-experienced Logistics Analysts.
Resolves advanced supplier quality issues and provides appropriate support for desired supplier capability.
Identifies advanced logistics opportunities for process improvements, inventory reductions, and cost savings.
May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced analysts.
May serve as a mentor to less experienced analysts.
May serve as team or task lead. (Not a people manager)
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 8+ years of experience
