This position will provide leadership guidance alignment, and direction to team of engineers for the effective design, development, delivery, and documentation of infrastructure technology systems and services. This includes the overall planning and management of the computer, network, communication, storage, data, and end user technology services for the client.  The ideal candidate is an experienced technical manager with deep domain knowledge in distributed systems, virtual/cloud infrastructure, and network architectures. The ideal candidate will help define and implement strategic initiatives focused on expanding the infrastructure capabilities delivered to the client. This includes demonstrable experience in delivering systems meet/exceed the security, reliability, performance and scalability requirements that are needed to meet a global workforce. The ideal candidate will:

  • lead and/or help complete “proof of concept” efforts for new infrastructure technologies including SWOT assessments to drive business decisions
  • Monitor industry trends and align existing and future infrastructure solution strategies
  • Represent solutions in technical reviews and discussions with client stakeholders
  • Oversee and help maintain technology roadmaps for core infrastructure offerings
  • Analyzes user needs and performs research and functional analysis on a variety of projects
  • Generally recognized as a leader in the industry in their area of expertise; sought out by others in the area of expertise for advice and guidance
  • Provide expert support, analysis, research, and advice into exceptionally complex problems, and processes relating to the subject matter
  • Serve as technical expert on executive-level project teams providing technical direction, interpretation and alternatives. Expertise is in a particular area of Information Technology (e.g., Cybersecurity, Information Systems Architecture, Telecommunications Systems Design, Architecture, Implementation, Information Systems Integration, Software Development Methodologies, Security Engineering, Communications and Network Systems Management).
  • Perform highly specialized and technical tasks associated with the most current and cutting-edge technologies
  • May serve as a technical consultant to a project or a number projects dealing with area of technical expertise
  • Coordinate with contract management and Government personnel to ensure the problems have been properly defined and the solutions satisfy customer needs.
  • 8570 compliance, IAT Level II certification

  • TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
  • Candidates must be willing and able to attain a CI Polygraph if one is not already held
