The Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts (AO) is the agency within the Judicial Branch of the federal government that provides a broad range of legislative, legal, financial, technology, management, administrative, and program support services to federal courts. The AO has approximately 1,200 employees, who provide administrative support, program management, and policy development on behalf of the 35,000 court employees and judges in 800 locations.
The Office of Public Affairs (OPA) is the Judiciary’s central point of contact for communications guidance and resources. OPA serves as the liaison between the Judiciary and the news media and responds to inquiries from the public. The GDIT Web Team assists OPA with the development and maintenance of all of its mission-critical websites: three public and two intranets. The team consists of 16 web professionals working collaboratively and seamlessly with government staff in an Agile framework.
Associate degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
5 years of experience building webpages, developing webpages in a content management system (Drupal preferred), and coordinating client request for website updates. At least one project must have occurred in the last year.
3 years of experience creating web content to meet communications goals and understanding of digital communications strategy.
This position requires being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by December 8, 2021 or the start date, if after December 8. Individuals who work in or reside in Texas or Montana or work outside of the United States may be excluded from this requirement.
