Job Description

How A Telecommunications Analyst Will Make An Impact:

  • Performs a variety of technical tasks and provides site support.
  • Modifies, moves, and installs a range of new equipment.
  • Troubleshoots a variety of hardware and software problems and interconnectivity issues.
  • Performs a variety of integrity testing and interviews customers to gather information about problems.
  • Prepares and presents a variety of incident/performance reports to the customer and to the service delivery manager.
  • Provides advice and a variety of onsite training for customer support personnel.
  • May coach and review the work of less-experienced professionals.
  • May serve as a team or task leader. (Not a people manager)
  • Analyzes, maintains, and modifies telecommunications systems to meet operational standards.
  • Monitors the operations of telecommunications systems and services of vendors.
  • Conducts studies regarding telecommunication systems usage and recommends changes as appropriate.
  • Plans and coordinates all moves and installation of telecommunications equipment.
  • Tests, adjusts, and troubleshoots complex hardware equipment as necessary.
  • Maintains records and prepares complex reports relevant to the operation of the telecommunications systems.


What You Will Need to Succeed:

  • Provides end-user training of telecommunications features and functionality.
  • CompTIA Security Plus required.
  • DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of experience
