GDIT is looking for an energetic and bright staffing and human resources professional with international recruiting experience. In this role you will be responsible for leading our day to day recruiting of the Foreign Employee Workforce (FEW) at GDIT to support the exciting growth of our international business. The position will be an individual contributor to support the recruitment of the Foreign Employee Workforce (FEW) (foreign national, ordinarily resident, and/or third country nationals (TCNs)) worldwide. You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders to include the International Human Resources (IHR) team, Supply Chain, Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, and Hiring Managers.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Advise hiring managers and candidates through the recruiting process from requisition creation, candidate screening, interview scheduling, offer management & pre-employment to include background investigations, and up until day 1/ orientation.
Ensure the collection of required documentation throughout the recruitment process.
Manage and administering tiered services vendors to include local staffing agencies partnership, invoice and payment, recruitment activity, and more.
Oversee services with and performance by vendors to ensure terms and conditions are met.
Coordinate with local managers and functional teams for talent acquisition strategy
Coordinate and administering workforce and staffing plans with stakeholders;
support international / host country managers with staffing plans, specific vendor services, and job candidates;
prioritizing reqs based on criticality, contract type, and act as escalation point for staffing issues;
aiding in dispositioning, interview coordination, and screening, as needed; and
Support project planning, host country research, and cross-functional coordination including payroll, HR, Talent Acquisition, Accounts Payable, and Procurement/Supply Chain
Provide market level data to include labor availability, price points, anticipated time to hire, concerns in filling required roles
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in related field
5 years relevant experience as a HR Generalist, Talent Acquisition Specialist/Recruiter, or in Vendor Management or Global HR, or other related functional department
A minimum of three years of international staffing or HR experience
Demonstrated experience with process improvement and development
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Familiarity with enterprise scale Applicant Tracking Systems required; preferably Workday Recruiting
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency using MS Office with advanced skills in Excel, Power Point
Required Technical Skills: MS Office, Workday, SharePoint and other records and collaboration systems.
Strong organizational, time management, and communication (written and verbal) skills.
Fluency in a foreign language (Spanish, French, Portuguese, Arabic and/or Dutch) preferred
HR Certification (SHRM, HRCI, CBP) desired
