At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Full Service Project manager supporting the customer, you will be trusted to solve complex IT issues while delivering outstanding customer service. In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Working on a small team on a wide variety of projects requiring large installations.
  • Monitoring the progress of multiple concurrent and highly visible projects and requirements with the ability to recommend or take required corrective actions; skilled at risk identification and management
  • Developing and managing resource loaded project schedules using MS project.
  • Articulating complex resource and technical issues to a range of audiences; excellent communication skills
  • Leading and managing enterprise level, multi-disciplinary cross-organizational project teams using the customer's Project Management Framework (PMF) and Agile project management methodology
  • Building and maintaining constructive relationships among customers, stakeholders, technical teams, and contractors across the customer space & IC
  • Communicating (orally and in writing) the most complex technical concepts and project information, tailoring ideas, explanations, and concepts to executive and senior managers.
  • Managing multiple concurrent projects, short deadlines, and competing priorities
  • Analyzing user needs and performing research and functional analysis on a variety of projects


  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
  • Demonstrated 15 years of experience and knowledge in managing IT projects.
  • Knowledge of customer's enterprise technical architecture, services-oriented architectures, security requirements, and operating environments
  • A broad knowledge of Agency IT components, missions and strategies
  • Familiarity with Intelligence Community issues, policies, systems, and working relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to examine project successes and failures and make recommendations to improve processes and practices
  • Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph

BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
