Job Description:

In this job, chosen individual will be supervising a couple teams within our SCITES Program.Teams managed include:A team of SharePoint Admins, Power Platform Developers, and Collaboration Experts who provide knowledge management and collaboration capabilities to customer. Will also manage the other half of the Collaboration team which provides full lifecycle support for garrison, and reach-back support for deployed collaboration solutions, Voice, Video, and VTC communications networks and services encompassing the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and management of designated collaboration solutions, including but not limited to network voice communications systems and associated equipment, networks supporting video telecommunications (VTC), full motion video (FMV), and streaming video.Required Qualifications:
  • Active Secret clearance, TS/SCI desirable.
  • BA/BS (or equivalent experience) with 5+ years of experience. Additional experience in lieu of formal education will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Manage the development and administration of schedule and performance requirements; may have budget responsibilities.
  • Manage and prioritizes information systems needs and analyzes project costs and feasibility.
  • Keep well-informed of new technologies and industry best practices and trends and then plans and advises for implementation.
  • Helping the team achieve a high level of performance and quality, holding teams accountable for their work, removing obstacles, and mentoring less experienced team members.
  • Defining the project’s schedule and scope while balancing this with timely and regular value deliveries and organizing and leading working and project status meetings.
  • Delivering Agile projects that offer outstanding business value to the users.
  • Supporting the product owner in managing communications with stakeholders, managing customer’s expectations for deliverables, and implementing an effective project governance system.
  • Promote team empowerment through team-building techniques, ensuring each team member is making a meaningful contribution and fully engaged in the project.
  • Assume the role of a coach, advising team members how to optimize their efficiency within the project team best.
  • Guides and coaches the Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers.
  • Gets team to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques.
  • Works with Project or Scrum Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organizational project or product teams.
  • Contributes to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.
  • Facilitates and supports all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
  • Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected
  • Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), or understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices
  • Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams
  • Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
  • Prior/current experience as a SharePoint admin or developer
  • Experience with Power Platform applications is a plus.
  • Scrum Master Certified is a plus.
  • IAT level II Certified is preferred.
SCOPE OF ROLE: Manage a medium to large team or department of multiple disciplines. Medium to High Complexity. Direct reports are typically exempt and often include other people managers.
