The Administrative Assistant II will perform critical administrative support functions for the execution of the centers lengthiest and more resource-intensive course. The candidate will work closely with stakeholders from across the organization to prepare for course runnings. This includes scheduling - to include communications about guest speakers and room reservations; obtaining appropriate computer/tool accesses for dozens of students and trouble shooting with IT as needed; maintain email lists; monitor preparation of handouts and packets; facilitate reset tasks with instructors; and facilitating survey content. The candidate will also have opportunity to assist with quality control of assignments and the student website, and will also need to be conversant in how to archive data from course runnings. The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, plus attention to detail in order to accurately track the schedule and requirements. It is paramount for the candidate to be organized, and also able to think critically and work with others to solve problems - especially interfacing with IT professionals - in a fast-paced environment. This is an ideal position for a candidate that wants to have autonomy, while still functioning as a critical member of a team.
