GDIT has an opportunity for a Training Manager to develop a training plan and curriculum for a national rollout of new IT services and systems.  In this role, you will determine the content and best methods for ongoing training for both technical and non-technical users.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, coordinate, and advertise training opportunities for our customer including development of a comprehensive training plan and related training materials. 
  • Work with SMEs and vendors to develop training content and the best methods for delivery of that content.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of Training Materials for accuracy and currency shall be accomplished when changes to systems, processes, or procedures require it. 
  • Track participation by mode of training, conduct customer satisfaction surveys, and report results to the Program Manager regularly. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelors degree and 10+ years related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Experience developing training content and methods for training (ie video, user guides, in person or online training, etc)  
  • Experience creating training plans for a new rollout and ongoing operations  

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Experience developing technical training is strongly preferred.
  • Government contracting experience is a plus.
