GDIT is expanding its AWS cloud hosting services with a large Government civilian agency. This GDIT AWS Cloud Customer Sales and Success role is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing AWS cloud hosting team. As an integral member of GDIT’s cloud team, you will identify, sell, and maintain relationships across the government agency and provide regular feedback and engagement with the cloud program director and supporting teams. GDIT is committed to increasing cloud adoption by creating an exciting, fast paced and rewarding sales opportunity.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain a cloud hosting sales plan and cloud usage pipeline
  • Execute against the sales plan to drive usage of GDIT’s AWS cloud hosting service to meet or exceed quarterly and annual cloud consumption goals
  • Identify FedCiv agency contacts and quickly build relationships needed to sell GDIT’s AWS cloud hosting service
  • Present cloud solutions and hosting business case at application team and executive levels
  • Work with GDIT’s cloud team and the agency AWS account team to maximize cloud usage
  • Overcome objections and hesitancy with AWS training, GDIT’s experience, etc.
  • Manage the sales cycle from identification to cloud migration and support
  • Leverage partner and competitor relationships to drive cloud usage

Required experience and skills:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent business experience
  • 5+ years of experience selling AWS cloud solutions to large federal government customers
  • Proven prospecting and sales cycle management
  • Proven record of exceeding sales/revenue objectives
  • Experience at new account development and management
  • Understanding and ability to work collaboratively with AWS cloud sales and account teams
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and presentation skills

Experience tracking opportunities from identification to closure in tools such as Saleforce and experience with cloud data warehouse platforms, business analytics and machine learning are considered a plus.
