SCITES is a brand new program that General Dynamics is supporting. The end customer is USSOUTHCOM. Program is a seven year contract. This represents an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to grow within a company. Several hundred people will be supporting this program, and therefore represents excellent mobility.
Primary requirements for the SQL Database Architect:
Requires 8+ years of experience designing, planning, implementing, and administering databases, including security, access, and documentation.
Develops and designs proposed physical and metadata storage comprising the complete database system.
Creates security, back-up, and recovery specifications.
Provide project support in determining new and updating database requirements.
Coordinates and oversees installation actions.
Conducts operational and administrative training on new and updated database systems.
Determines and provides database system solutions for incident and problem resolution.
Coordinates with Cyber Security Architect on cybersecurity issues involving database systems.
No Shift Work required but may have to provide occasional after-hours support
MCSA: SQL 2016 Database Administration or equivalent certification. We will consider individuals in lieu of certification but must be willing to get certification prior to starting in position.
BS/BA Degree in Information Technology or related field OR commensurate level of experience based on position level.
TS/SCI or Top Secret with SCI eligibility
