In this role, a typical day will include the following responsibilities and tasks:
Handle escalated tickets that have been triaged by Tier I support for continued troubleshooting.
Be responsible for managing all printers and administering maintenance
Expected to work with hardware suppliers and software companies used within our environment to investigate problems and resolve issues.
Administer User and Computer accounts within Active Directory
Perform Group Policy updates
Administer various in-house software programs to allow management and oversite of entire laptop environment
Provide solutions and advice to IT problems presented by leadership or by internal group members.
Provide support to leadership on various IT projects and taskers as required
Support and provide feedback to ensure continual process improvement
5 years of experience related to desktop and user support
3 + years of directly related experience performing desktop administration duties
A+ or Security+ Certification
Excellent technical knowledge of PC hardware and Windows operating systems
Ability to work independently in order to solve technical problems
Experience with creating accounts and managing permissions within Active Directory
U.S. Citizenship and an active T3 (NACLC) or Secret Clearance is required
AA/AS or a related technical discipline
