Responsible for strengthening the defensive posture and cyber defense operational readiness of an IT Enterprise our Enterprise Cyber Network Defense (ECND) program defends and protects Government assets from external Cyber Security attacks and Insider Threats that can potentially cause or create data, systems, networks, and personnel vulnerabilities.
Manage the functionality and efficiency of Palo Alto firewalls.
Remain proactive in identifying, analyzing, and resolving technical issues involving Palo Alto firewalls.
Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
Participate in special projects as required.
Assist in the planning of system enhancements and upgrades.
Assist in the development of documentation on new or existing systems.
May provide technical OJT training and guidance to less experienced team members.
May serve as liaison with clients, participating in meetings to ensure client needs are met.
May provide leadership to less-experienced team members.
BA/BS and 8+ years of related systems engineering experience or any of the following combinations of education and experience • High School Diploma + 12 years • Associate's Degree + 10 years • Bachelor's Degree + 8 years • Master's Degree + 6 years • PhD + 4 years
A TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly (or able to obtain CI Poly)
Security+ CE or other approved DoD 8570 IAT II certification prior to employment.
Ability to obtain an 8570 IASAE II certification within six months from the date of hire. Viable certifications that meet this requirement are CASP+CE, CISSP (or Associate) or CSSLP.
