GDIT is currently looking for a Travel Lead to join our Travel team located at the NASA Shared Services Center. This position will work closely with the Travel Manager to oversee and supervise the work of the Service Provider Travel staff.
Job Description & Qualifications
Ensures that the proper Federal Travel Regulations are being followed in the management of the Travel staff. Serves as the first level subject matter expert in the area of Federal Travel Regulations and guideline interpretation and must be able to assist customers and staff in understanding what is required to successfully submit authorizations and vouchers. Participates in projects and training as assigned. Works collaboratively with NASA Centers, service providers, and outside organizations as it relates to the work of the Team. Monitors and ensures accuracy of documentation and records for reporting. Completes internal and external written and oral reports professionally and in a timely manner. Reviews monthly metric reporting for accuracy. Performs other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or GED
4 Years mid-level financial management and accounting practices and principles experience. An equivalent combination of relevant education and/or training may be substituted for experience.
