The Site Lead at GITMO manages the staff and activities of information systems solutions.
Responsible for the employment, training, motivation and evaluation of assigned staff.
Leads planning and policy development issues.
Manages a medium to large team or department of multiple disciplines. Medium to High Complexity.
Manages information systems professionals directly or through subordinate managers/supervisors.
Manages the development of policies and procedures and ensures their conformance with the departments goals and company/customer objectives.
Manages the development and administration of schedule and performance requirements; may have budget responsibilities.
Manages and prioritizes information systems needs and analyzes project costs and feasibility.
Keeps well-informed of new technologies and industry best practices and trends and then plans and advises for implementation.
Oversees ordering process to effectively and economically meet objectives.
Manages vendor relationships and billing reconciliations.
Provides guidance and solutions to ensure the information systems needs align with the strategic departmental initiatives.
5+ years of experience managing multiple employees
3+ years Information Technology experience
BA/BS (or equivalent experience)
Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
Possess certifications as required in DoD 8570 IAT-II (e.g., Security+ CE)
