The duties of the AA are transactional in nature and require discretion and able to work both independently and within a team. A majority of your day will be dedicated to interfacing with applicants over the phone or via written correspondence. The AA will interact with the customer on a daily basis, providing information and updates as required. The AA will be a team player, working with a team of contractors and Customers. The AA will interact with mid-level personnel on a daily basis and at times be required to work special projects for senior managements. Strong Customer Service skills are crucial to this position and AAs will be expected to maintain a calm and positive demeanor at all times when interfacing with applicants. Coordination/scheduling will be the other most important role of this position. AAs will be expected to assist qualified applicants in transmitting and filing pre-coe paperwork, scheduling testing and medical exams. The team will help create several hundred Travel Authorization Requests (TAR)s each month for applicants attending appointments. Once completed, submit all TARs to the supervisor for submission to the Finance staff. Candidate will need to have effective Problem solving skills, excellent writing ability, judgement, discretion, interpersonal/ communication, customer service skills. They will need to be flexible and be able to manage competing priorities as well as have a willingness to take on additional duties as mission dictates. The AA will be required to work the core hours of 0900 to 1500. Flex scheduled may be considered on a case by case basis. No TDY travel is required.
