And our work depends on a Property Manager joining our team to support the Army National Guard (ARNG) activities at MTC Atterbury, MTC Chaffee, MTC Dodge, MTC Ft. Indiantown Gap, MTC Gowan Field, and MTC Leavenworth.

As a Property Manager supporting the ARNG’s MCTSP, you will be trusted to manage all Government property and assets in accordance with the MCTSP contract requirements, approved procedures, and Government regulations. The Property Manger reports directly to the contractor Site Manager, and is responsible for organizing, accounting, and safe keeping all the property assigned to the MTC. In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Creating and maintaining inventories for Government and/or corporate property
  • Conduct periodic inventories of office furniture and automated data processing equipment
  • Maintaining inventory databases, including making corrections and entering data when necessary
  • Provides and maintains records of receipts to individuals with property
  • Provides training on matters relating to property management
  • Ensures equipment works properly and provides replacement equipment when necessary
  • Generates various reports as assigned
  • Participates in special projects as required

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS/BA Degree
  • Three years experience with property management, inventories, and property accountability
  • Knowledgeable of property management practices, policies, and procedures
  • Knowledgeable of Government equipment shipping requirements
  • Proficiency in the use of word processing, spreadsheets, and other related software applications
  • Effective communications skills
  • Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Five or more years experience as a property manager/property book officer at a Brigade or Division level organization
  • Knowledgeable of Army Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS), Tactical Operation Center (TOC) operations, and MCTSP operations
