While hundreds of first -time investors are turning to the markets to help pay for their homes, send their children to college and secure their futures the mission of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is becoming all the more vital. GDIT is excited to support the SEC in as it seeks to protect investors, maintain fair, orderly, and efficient markets, and facilitate capital formation. The SEC ISS program is a comprehensive IT program charged with operating, managing, and advancing the SECs IT infrastructure. Our dynamic program team of IT leaders and large and small business partners is seeking bright, energetic and talented individuals to join us as we bring our innovative IT Service Delivery solutions to SEC.

​GDIT has an immediate opportunity for a Senior Identity Access Management Engineer to support our SEC customer in Washington, DC.  Candidates must be US Citizens and eligible to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

Required Skills/Knowledge:

  • Minimum 12 years of extensive systems engineering experience and an expertise as an Identity and Access Management (IdAM) engineer to contribute to the deployment and maintenance of an IdAM solution.

  • As an IdAM Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for working closely with Federal leadership to define, implement, deploy and maintain a platform that supports user identity and access management functionality with a state-of-the-art customized COTS platform.

  • Ensure integration of infrastructure and custom code into a Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Delivery (CD) and Continuous Deployment pipeline and provide a comprehensive automated test coverage for the deployed solution.

  • Develops and maintains DevOps tools and processes to support the IdAM solution and its configuration in multiple environments.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a complex, fast paced environment

  • Expertise in Agile development approaches including Scrum and Kanban

Desired Qualifications:

  • Detailed knowledge of modern IT automation platforms (i.e. Ansible, Salt, Puppet)

  • Detailed knowledge of modern software build platforms (i.e. Jenkins, Azure DevOps)expertise in Linux shell programming / scripting

  • Significant experience across diverse technology stack including COTS and custom software

  • Expertise in Agile development approaches including Scrum and Kanban

  • Clear understanding and experience with CI/CD pipelines

  • Expertise in role / entitlement engineering and SAML / Single-Sign-On

  • Detailed knowledge of git based SCM platforms (i.e. Azure DevOps or Atlassian Bitbucket)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
