HOW PROGRAM MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Coordinates the overall workflow and coordination of activities associated with the Senior Executive’s (SE’s) responsibilities and serves as the liaison between the component and the Intelligence Community (IC). The nature of this position demands exercising wide autonomy, latitude, and discretion regarding workflow, priorities, and methods to accomplish work in accordance with established policies and procedures. The position requires an extensive knowledge of executive level administrative processes and procedures in the IC, and an in-depth knowledge of the various executive styles, methods of operation, relationships, and authorities.
Manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in assigned program area including technical work and talent management. This includes coordinating and monitoring sub-contractor activities.
A minimum of seven (7) years of experience as a program/project manager, and/or in Human Resources (HR).
Demonstrated experience managing a program with similar size, scope, and complexity, and/or managing Human Resources (HR) for a program with similar size, scope, and complexity.
Maintains staff by interviewing, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.
Proven ability to handle a large, complex workload, effectively coordinate multiple resources, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, and counseling employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing policies and procedures.
Establishes strategic goals by gathering pertinent business and operational information; identifying and evaluating trends and options; choosing a course of action; defining objectives; evaluating outcomes.
Maintains quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards; analyzing and resolving quality and customer service problems; identifying trends; recommending performance improvements.
Directs program activities to meet client and organization work objectives and serves as a liaison with clients to coordinate activities, negotiate tasks, and solve problems.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Prepares and provides various reports and technical reviews to senior management as requested.
Ensures compliance with relevant corporate and government policies and standards.
Participates in special projects as required.
Required to visit multiple customer sites.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
TS/SCI with Polygraph
Bachelor’s Degree or higher is required.
A minimum of seven (7) years of related program management experience in IC.
Effective people management and leadership skills.
Strong communication skills, customer service skills, and the ability to problem solve.
Detail-oriented and knowledge of relevant government regulations and standards.
Experience leading a team of 50+ FTE.
Preferred Experience in Administrative Professional Industry.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Proven PM experience managing a corporate Administrative contract for the Federal Government.
