GDIT is seeking an Electrical Engineer to help support our Code 50 White Collar program.
As a Electrical Engineer for our Code 50 White Collar program in Philadelphia, PA you will be responsible for researches, designs, develops, tests, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software. Analyzes user/business software system requirements and determines needs. Determine the functionality of an application and performs upgrades over time. Maintains documentation to support software development policies, standards and procedures.
In this role, a typical day will include:
Performs engineering work concerned with the design, evaluation, planning, testing and operation of electrical, electronic, mechanical, and/or computer components, equipment and systems for commercial, government, military and/or scientific uses.
Analyzes customer requirements and provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate complexity.
Maintains equipment and/or systems integrity while ensuring compliance with policies.
Coordinates hardware and software acquisition.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned
Qualifications:
Active Secret Clearance
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an ABET accredited program
One (1) year of professional experience within industry as a systems, electrical, computer, and/or electronics engineer
One (1) year of professional experience coding in C++
One (1) year of professional experience coding in Java
One (1) year of professional experience reading electrical schematics
One (1) year of professional experience working with hardware/software systems
