We are an established team who support Custom Border Protection (CBP) at Cargo Systems Program Directorate (CSPD) to help them accomplish the vision of a streamlined, paperless, single window electronic filing using Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) systems.

Candidates must be local to the office.

Our team works remote at present.  Later in 2023 we expect to transition to a blended remote/onsite (Ashburn, VA) work week.

We would like to add a Java developer to join our dynamic team!!

  • 5+ years of Java development experience, Java 8 and higher
  • Experience using Angular 2.X
  • Experience developing against relational databases and solid SQL querying skills
  • 3+ years’ experience with web services development – SOAP/REST
  • 3+ years’ experience of UI development
  • Experience writing automated unit tests
  • Knowledge/experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git and AWS
  • Experience working on an Agile Team
  • Willingness and ability to support and mentor other team members

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience
  • Minimum Education: BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related field.

Clearance/Suitability/Citizenship

Must be able to obtain a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Public Trust Suitability (Interim or Final) needed to start

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: BA/BS or equivalent, 5+ years of experience
