The USBICES-X Coalition Integration lab (CIL) is the enduring solution for intelligence sharing.  Meeting the challenge of complex 21st century operational requirements, the USBICES-X CIL is a leader in making systems and tools available to trusted stakeholders in a distributed, Coalition Shared Data environment.  Located at JB Langley-Eustis, the CIL provides a reliable resource to advance the Initial Operating Capability of NATO Joint Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for analyzing a variety of applications and developing associated test plans to ensure proper functionality in a secured environment;
  • Ensure that developed test plans meet program requirements, adequately ensuring proper functionality of applications evaluated within secured environments;
  • Maintain knowledge of current systems technologies and DISA security guidance such that these can be adequately addressed in test plans;
  • Assists System Engineers with building and maintenance of environments outside scope of testing environment;
  • Responsible for analyzing requirements in order to complete reliable and accurate cost estimates for the US BICES Program;
  • Work with a variety of functional groups to include Logistics, Systems and Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Software Teams to develop solutions and collect data;
  • Work with vendors to learn about emerging technology and collaborate with the Software Engineering Team to update the team estimation tools on a monthly basis;
  • Participate in special projects as assigned.
     

Qualifications

Required:

  • 15+ years of directly related experience in systems engineering
  • Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education, technical certification or training, or work experience
  • Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance
  • Must have documentation experience
     

Preferred:

  • Experience applying Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) required;
  • Experience utilizing industry standard technologies such as Active Directory and/or LDAP, DNS, DHCP, PKI, IdAM, etc.
  • Experience with the writing of or participation in events utilizing test plans to validate results.
  • Depending on job assignment, additional specific certifications may be required;
  • This position may be required to complete short-term deployments to austere locations worldwide;
