GDIT is looking for a Cyber Security Analyst Associate to to support a 24X7 Security Monitoring & Response desk, which provides Information Security support enterprise-wide in an efficient and accurate manner. You will be considered as the gateway for security event management. You will provide end-to-end support provide support for all assigned areas. The goal is to make sure that the client values are maintained to the standards set forth by the company & core values.
Providing first level contact and tasking to resolutions to client tasked issues
Properly escalating unresolved events to the next level of support or management
Tracking, routing and redirecting problems to correct resources
Provide first level contact and convey resolutions to customer issues
Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support
Track, route and redirect problems to correct resources
Update event data and produce monthly metrics to client
Follow up with client, provide feedback and see problems through to resolution
Utilize excellent customer service skills and exceed customers’ expectations
Ensure proper recording, documentation and closure
Recommended procedure modifications or improvements
Preserve and grow your knowledge of security procedures, products and services
TS/SCI with a Polygraph is required
8570 Compliant certification
Working knowledge of service desk environment, software, databases and remote control
Strong client-facing and communication skills
Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
Customer service orientation
BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science + 0 years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
