Sailor 2025 is a program focused on three core pillars – Personnel System Modernization; Ready Relevant Learning (RRL); and Career Readiness. The second pillar, Ready, Relevant Learning (RRL) deals primarily with doing away with the old way of brick and mortar schoolhouses, or industrial age training, and replacing the curriculum with career-long learning continuum where training is delivered by modern methods to enable faster learning, better knowledge retention, and delivery at the right time and in the right way for our Sailors. This job opportunity's objective is the creation and delivery of products in support of the Sailor 2025 (S2025) Ready Relevant Learning (RRL) Content Conversion Wave 1 effort.
Work to be performed on-site at company location, Chesapeake VA. Must have or be able to hold a Secret clearance.
Provide programming for Adobe Captivate courseware including complex branching.
Generates new code and corrects, converts, and/or modifies existing code to meet specifications.
Prepares detailed specifications from which code will be written.
Confers with end-users to analyze specified methods and procedures, identify problems, and document specific requirements.
Writes and updates technical documentation such as users' manuals, product specifications, and training materials.
Performs a variety of testing procedures on assigned products, analyzes test results, and corrects problems.
Must be able to create SCORM packages that are compatible with COTS learning management systems (LMSs)
2+ coding or programming for courseware development programs to include Captivate, mobile applications, Java script, and related systems
