  • Collaborate with our architects, engineering and development teams to design, develop, test, cloud solutions
  • Ability and experience designing, documenting, and verifying the technology solution that meets business needs and technical requirements and follows enterprise defined guardrails, governance, and security standards for cloud deployments
  • Implement processes and tools to deploy and debug cloud initiatives successfully with best practice DevOps techniques across the entire solution development lifecycle
  • Define and create engineering design documents, test plans, diagrams, and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance
  • Develop and implement re-usable cloud infrastructure modules and templates using DevSecOps practices (e.g., Infrastructure As Code, CI/CD, Agile Work Methods, Policy-as-code, secure by design)
  • Design and build templates to deliver production‑grade Cloud Infrastructure for consumers of the service
  • Develop and implement re-usable cloud Infrastructure modules and templates using DevSecOps practices (Infrastructure As Code, CI/CD, Agile Work Methods, Policy-as-code, secure by design)
  • Automate resource provisioning and allocation process
  • Automate deployment of solution and infrastructure using CloudFormation and other technologies
  • Build a framework using AWS cloud technologies to collect, transfer, and archive data files of varying formats into a data lake and content warehouse in a consistent way
  • Leverage AWS technologies including SQS, SNS, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, and more to build a resilient, cost effective data transport solution
  • Provide operations and maintenance support for data feeds and developed solutions.
  • Provides expert guidance and recommendations to senior-level Government and Vendor decision-makers, technicians and managers.       
  • Lead code reviews

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 15+ years of experience.
  • Experience using Docker to create containerized applications
  • Experience with Git, GitHub and project management tools-to-mate deployment of solution and infrastructure using CloudFormation and other technologies
  • Working experience in AWS Serverless architecture using Python, Lambda, API Gateway, ALB/ELB
  • Experience with Cloud Automation Development Tool such as Git, CircleCI, Ansible, AWS CloudFormation, Python/Bash/PowerShell Scripting
