Systems Administrator Advisor

GDIT is seeking a professional, energetic, and reliable Systems Administrator Advisor to join the ARMA team. You will support the management, functionality, and efficiency of a group of systems and services running multiple server stacks across varied operating systems to deliver Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Content Management (MCM) services. Ensure that the solutions and support activities delivered are aligned with the strategy and vision of the organization and achieve the delivery of elastic, highly available, and fault tolerant systems within commercial cloud service provider ecosystems. Assist in the development of new MDM and MCM solutions using automation tools while adhering to an Agile, DevOps/DevSecOps development, implementation, and sustainment approach supporting customer services through the full service lifecycle.

• Requires an experienced and working knowledge of information systems and applications

• Expert knowledge of MDM products, features and benefits

• Experience with File Share / Mobile Content Management services

• Experience with both Apple iOS and Google Android mobile devices

• Experience with security policies and requirements for US Government Services/Systems

• Excellent communication skills

• Exhibit patience and understanding when working with customers

• Provides technical guidance and leadership when possible and maximizes learning at every opportunity to ensure program success

• Must work to consistently deliver resilient, reliable, cost-effective solutions that enable end user outcomes to be realized

• Familiarization with DoDAF 2.02 Architectures, Mobile Device Features, Policies, and end-user use-cases

• Ability to lift over 35 LBS

• Work environment is administrative office with some telework allowed

Experience Requirements

• 8+ years of combined DoD and/or Commercial industry IT service experience

• At least 2+ years’ experience using Mobile Device Management Software (e.g., Mobile Iron, MS Intune, AirWatch/WorkSpaceOne) to manage mobile device policies, and device configurations

• 2+ years of relevant experience in implementing or sustaining enterprise-level MDM solutions with emphasis on iOS or Android devices

• 2+ years’ experience running File Share services or Mobile Content Management

Certification Requirements

The candidate shall have the following certifications, or obtain within 6 months of hiring on;

• Amazon Web Services Associate Certification (Developer, Solution Architect, or SysOps)

• Current 8570.01M IAM Level-II certification required

Security Requirements

• Must have a SECRET clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI (TS/SCI)

Education Requirements

• BA/BS degree, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
