The SEC ISS program is a comprehensive IT program charged with operating, managing, and advancing the SEC's IT infrastructure. Our dynamic program team of IT leaders and large and small business partners is seeking bright, energetic and talented individuals to join us as we bring our innovative IT Service Delivery solutions to SEC. Currently, we are seeking a Solutions Engineer - Senior in Washington, DC supporting a customer contract. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a SEC Public Trust Suitability.
Task and responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to the following:
This position will report directly to the TASK 2/3 Program Manager and the incumbent will be expected to perform technical tasks in support of the NLYTE project.
You will work closely with Operations Project Manager and Data Center Task Team Lead to support the development of the NLYTE project

To qualify, you must meet these basic qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years of related experience providing business solutions Engineering Support, to include architectural design, engineering design, proof of concept development, pilots, analysis, results, and documentation
Ability to directly interface with SEC Management and stakeholders to provide status updates, address incoming issues and provide support for escalation if needed
Ability to perform day-to-day activities required to assist and identify technology solutions that meet enterprise requirements
Ability to map functional requirements into technological requirements, and identifies technologies that meet the technological requirements
Ability to conduct proof of concept, pilots and demos for the purposes of evaluating the suitability of given technologies for meeting requirements
Knowledgeable with SQL 2014/2016, and HTML under IE
Ability to change indexing number on chassis, perform configuration and enhancements to the existing configuration data in the existing virtual instance of NLYTE, and upload cable changes
Strong analytical and problem solving skills to trouble shoot and resolve issues relevant to the business operations
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to balance and prioritize work
