Performs specialized financial, accounting or planning activities following general project or departmental guidelines, procedures in support of various functions such as budgeting, auditing and financial planning. Determines cost of operations by establishing standard costs; collecting operational data. Improves financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management. Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.

Job Description

  • Responsible for complex tasks in various financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting and analysis.
  • Leads the creation of monthly and quarterly financial business review to provide insight into business.
  • Prepares monthly forecast, risk assessment and variance analysis to senior management.
  • Prepares financials for monthly close and forecasting process.
  • Analyzes both the monthly forecast and current quarter and future projections.
  • Act as focal point for communication of financials.
  • Develops long-range financial models in collaboration with the management team. May have risk identification and recovery responsibilities.
  • Ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as other government regulations.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensures subsidiary readiness for year-end audit.
  • Provides financial leadership to the business, helping drive profitable growth.
  • Manages revenue and cost adjustment submission, ensuring accuracy and review of proper back up information.
  • Collaborates across organizations/functions including sales, operations, line of business and project management.
  • Monitors and assesses financial impact changes of Indirect rates, rate pools, and allocations.


  • BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of experience
