Job Description

GDIT Technology Shared Services (TSS) is looking for a Java Script UI developer that will provide guidance through all phases of the software development lifecycle.  The Java Script UI developer will analyze user/business needs and functionality to plan and design software systems to meet those needs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provides guidance in creating a variety of models and diagrams that show programmers the software code needed for an application.
• Provides guidance to all phases of the software updates, refinement, testing, and debugging process to meet business needs.
• Provides valued analysis on software project specifications, activities, or status.
• Advises on the software or system process for optimal documentation and future maintenance and updates.
• May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced analysts.
• May serve as a mentor to less experienced analysts.

Customer contract requires US Citizenship

Required Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent IT related experience.
• Two (2) or more years of UI development experience.
• Experience with a modern JS framework and Typescript, as well as CSS for styling the look and feel.
• Experience with React and/or Angular JavaScript tools (preferably React).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Four (4) years of UI development experience
• Experience with ArcGIS JavaScript libraries
• Experienced in building GUI with SWING and web technologies
• Experienced in MVC Framework (STRUTS, Spring MVC and Spring Boot), RUP, XML/XQuery/XPath. 
• Experience in Hibernate/JPA
• Experience with SOAP/Restful
