At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Business/Financial Analyst supporting the Alabama Supercomputer Authority, you will be trusted to work on a variety of financial and business processes on the Alabama Supercomputer Program. You will be performing a vital role in support of the largest research and education network in the state of Alabama. In this role, a typical day will include:
Close collaboration with co-workers and customer, Alabama Supercomputer Authority (ASA)
Creation and delivery of small cost proposals for client service changes
Tracking, creation, and delivery of client service renewal quotes and agreements
Ongoing maintenance of client service cost, revenue, and service level records
Assisting other team members in E-rate processes (applying for funding and reimbursement)
Ad-hoc projects as they arise
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
BA/BS in Business Administration or related field, or the equivalent combination of work experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Basic understanding of accounting
Strong business acumen
Experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook (advanced Excel & VBA skills are a bonus)
Experience with costing and pricing services
Ability to compile and reconcile data from multiple sources
Ability and eagerness to learn new concepts
Ability to interpret technical specification documents
Data entry experience
