ORDNANCE INFORMATION SYSTEM The OIS is an integration of ordnance logistics systems used by the Navy and Marine Corps for ordnance asset management and accountability. The OIS is comprised of integrated applications and distributed databases providing controlled global access, where a single action results in a system wide update. OIS is the data repository and management tool for central inventory management and local stock control of Navy ammunition.

GDIT is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst with a minimum of five years of experience.  The successful candidate interacts with both technical staff and senior customer management. 

Essential duties:

  • Successful experiences with quality assurance, quality control, and team leader responsibilities.
  • Configuration Management, verification and validation, and software testing and integration, plus experience with software metrics and their application to software quality assessment.
  • Metrics creation and reporting.
  • Knowledge of current storage and retrieval methods and demonstrated ability to formulate specifications for computer programmers to use in coding, testing, and debugging of computer programs.
  • Experience in areas such as the following: analysis and design of business applications on complex systems for large-scale computers, data base management, use of programming languages, and/or DBMS.

Educational Requirements:  BS in a related field with 5 yrs or more experience, can be MS 3 yrs or more related experience

Additional Requirements:

  • Must have or must obtain and maintain certifications that comply with DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level II baseline certification requirements. 
  • Must be a US Citizen 
  • Must have a final Secret Clearance
