GDIT has an opportunity for a Field Service Technician supporting WIN-T RHN in Barrigada, Guam. This position requires someone with a current and active secret clearance.

REQUIREMENTS:

WARFIGHTER INFORMATION NETWORK – TACTICAL, INCREMENT 1 (WIN-T INC1) REGIONAL HUB NODE (RHN) Field Service Technician:

The ideal candidate should have knowledge of and experience conducting the following WIN-T RHN related tasks:

  • Completing quarterly IAVA updates as needed.
  • Managing/updating/upgrading Vsphere environment (Vcenter, Virtual Storage Manager, Virtual Storage Appliance).
  • Configuring and managing NetOps servers.
  • Tier 3 network configuration changes (abnormal configuration to distribution/core)
  • Tier 3 network troubleshooting (mission or access layer troubleshooting)
  • Managing and upgrading CSM Cisco ASA firewalls to include Tier 3 firewall configurations (abnormal expectations to network).
  • Tier 3 SATCOM mission support (TDMA database configuration/troubleshooting, FDMA troubleshooting)
  • Tier 3 SATCOM equipment (configuration, troubleshooting, touch maintenance)
  • Maintaining Backup Databases.
  • Imaging, configuring, and applying patches to applicable clients/workstations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • B.A./B.S. and 5 years of experience.
  • 4 years of additional work experience may be substituted for a B.A./B.S. Degree or A.A./A.S. degree and 2 years of additional work experience may be substituted for a B.A./B.S. Degree.
  • Must have a current and active Secret Clearance
  • CompTia Security+ Certification
  • Cisco CCNA Certification
