Enterprise Supply Chain & Logistician Innovator

GDIT is hiring an Enterprise Supply Chain Innovator to provide technical leadership and support in the areas of growth/proposals, and solution specification/design.

Position can be performed remotely; however, will require approximately 10-20% (or ~ 4-6 days per month) travel per month to the Wash. DC area with potential short notice (~48 hours) travel requirements. The ideal candidate would be someone local to the DC Metro area or someone with flexibility to travel frequently and with short notice requests.

The ideal candidate will need to possess strong knowledge of Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) and Supply Chain technology; and have significant experience designing and developing enterprise technical solutions for the federal government or large healthcare customers. Prior work experience with HHS agencies (CDC, CMS, FDA, NIH, HRSA, etc.), the Veterans Administration and/or the Military Health System is strongly preferred.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead the architecture and orchestrate the development of winning people, process, and technology solutions for growth opportunities
• Perform solution scans and designing and estimating the cost of technical solutions that satisfy the requirements of growth opportunities
• Prepare and develop proposal content to articulate GDIT solutions, provide written material as needed, and develop basis of estimates (BOE) and bill-of-materials (BOM) if required
• Be able to present solutions to all levels of customer organizations including executive leadership.
• Provide thought leadership and technical support to assist the Federal Health Sector in retaining and growing both new and current work
• Provide business area and sector and leadership feedback by measuring the success of delivery and organic growth initiatives
• Coordinate "reach back" with technical subject matter experts (SME) within GDIT to obtain specific knowledge or expertise to address technical issues.
• Lead and participate in development of proposals and associated subject matter, and participate in color reviews
• Develop realistic staffing plans along with supporting basis of estimates (BOE)
• Respond to technical questions and research requests from customers and programs. Perform business case analysis to support decision making process. Build and maintain relationships across all GDIT business units to ensure alignment with program capture, program execution, and other line of business services.
• Understand impact of internal decisions on customer & vendor relationships & plans accordingly
• Build & maintain relationships with key vendor partners to incorporate technology & capability Sector growth pipelines.
• Actively identify, monitor, and incorporate industry & vendor technologies and solution components to maximize GDIT customer value

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor's degree
• 15+ years of relevant supply chain, logistics, enterprise resource planning experience.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise logistics and supply chain information technology systems, including all layers of the IT stack.
• Experience implementing any of the following capabilities: Enterprise resource planning (ERP), Logistics, and Supply Chain capabilities supporting Inventory, Warehouse Management, Sourcing, Procurement & Order Management, Transportation Management, Asset Management, and Supply Chain Risk Management.
• Software Bills of Material (SBOM)
• Agile & Lean principles & methodologies for application development
• No code/low code iBPM and/or CRM solutions
• ITSM Automation & Orchestration
• Big data analytics, data warehousing, data lake
• Machine Learning & AI
• Large scale cloud migration (application, data, infrastructure)
• Next-gen cyber defense capabilities (e.g., proactive threat detection & automated response)
• Strong knowledge of commercial products/solutions, especially COTS software application products.Prior work experience with HHS agencies (CDC, CMS, FDA, NIH, HRSA, etc.), the Veterans Administration and/or the Military Health System.
• US citizenship is required.

The likely salary range for this position is $140,899 - $235,310, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
