Nature of Work -General administrative support ranging from preparing briefing documents, reports and cables; travel and logistical support; scheduling; maintaining and inleracling with units responsible for facilities, IT and supplies. The AA will be expected to operate autonomously with minimal direction and understand impact of items discussed in meeting and throughout the office. The successful applicant should be a self-starter capable of managing a variety of dynamic and transactional tasks. While serving as a singleton within the group, the AA will work as part of the broader department support team; collaboration amongst this team is required. Communication -Ability to write Sponsor Internal Communications, prepare briefings, documents and advocate with support elements for the group. Specific Schedule Requirements -Core hours are between 9am-3pm but flexible scheduling is available and encouraged. The group requires 1 FTE but will be flexible with potential part-lime candidates that possess all stated requirements. There is opportunity for hours beyond 1,860 (1 FTE) on an as needed basis.
