GDIT is hiring a Business Intelligence Lead to assist us in providing COTS implementation for the Office of Financial Resources (OFR) at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). For this project, GDIT will gather requirements, set up the infrastructure and configure and deploy our solution to production.

Candidates should have extensive experience of either COTS or custom build software life cycle development (SDLC), Agile, requirement gathering, and great collaboration.

This position can be 100% remote!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Requirements gathering.

  • Conduct usability research.

  • Good understanding of enterprise software, integration, and migration.

  • Work closely with developers, customer daily to resolve and unblock any issues.

  • Provide updates in daily and weekly in stand-up meeting.

  • Participate in backlog grooming and design sessions.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years of applicable experience

  • 5+ years experience of software development

  • 5+ years experience of business requirement gathering

  • 4+ years of any ETL tools such SSIS, Talend for data transformation and migration

  • 4+ years of any Data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau

  • 3+ years experience of SQLServer and Oracle relational databases

  • Advanced technical writing skills

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • 2+ years of AWS data tools such as AWS Glue, S3, DMS, Lambda

  • Understanding of Appian framework and technology

  • Experience with creating test cases and execute test scripts

  • Experience with Agile development tools, such as Atlassian Jira and Confluence

  • Ability to communicate clearly
