GDIT is looking for a highly motivated, senior Developer to join our experienced Cyber Automated Solutions Team (CAST). CASTS’s mission is to provide technical expertise and hands-on development to enterprise application owners in support of the cyber security office IA mission – cyber tool development, data visualization, and process automation; public key enablement (PKE), audit, and attribute based access control (ABAC). The senior developer will be responsible for building cyber analyst tools using a variety of web programming languages; developing scripts to automate processes and aggregate cyber data; and provide development and technical support to application owners to get PKE, Audit, and ABAC compliant.
The candidate will have the opportunity to work with an experienced team in an agile environment to learn the concepts and available enterprise cyber tools and cyber data analysis as well as the PKE, ABAC, and audit services available. The candidate will be required to develop in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment. The senior level Developer will be expected to work with limited supervision or guidance, have excellent written and oral communication, and be able to lead technical exchange meetings with customers. The ideal candidate will be an excellent trouble-shooter; understand PKE, ABAC, and audit concepts; be able to generate automated scripts on RHEL and Windows platforms; execute the development within a set timeline; and be an independent and motivated developer. The senior Developer will need to have a broad scope of basic understanding/experience with networking, cloud technologies, identity and access management concepts, web services, agile development methodologies, and web development technologies
Develop cyber tools and automate cyber data analysis and data compliance processes
Develop solutions for PKE, ABAC, and audit compliance on existing applications
Coordinate and run technical exchange meetings with application owners
Experience developing client/server applications
Experience developing traditional and single page web applications
Experience developing web services, APIs, and/or middleware
Experience with agile development methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban, etc.)
Experience with enterprise database development (triggers, stored procedures, views)
Experience with basic systems administration (web server and OS configuration)
Experience with PKE, audit, and/or ABAC
Experience with Identity and Access Management
Experience with cyber security best practices and tools
